Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from the C4 program to our shop for an engaging, hands-on career exploration day. The visit was designed to give students real world insight into the many roles that keep our business running successfully.
Throughout the day, students rotated through interactive stations, each led by experienced professionals from our team and trusted partners. This immersive approach allowed them to explore different career paths while gaining practical knowledge in a supportive environment.
Students had the opportunity to learn about:
- Finance with Jen (Owner), who introduced the fundamentals of managing business finances
- Plumbing with Chuck from Libb Co., offering a look into essential trade skills
- HVAC with Tim, one of our skilled technicians, who demonstrated heating and cooling systems
- Excavation with Nick (Owner), highlighting the groundwork behind many projects
- Marketing with Sandra, our Marketing Coordinator, who shared how we connect with our community
- Employee Benefits with Belinda from Creative Financials, explaining the importance of workforce support
- Workplace Behavior & Professional Development with Carla from Clear Cut Strategies
This collaborative effort provided students with a well rounded perspective on both technical trades and business operations. By participating in hands-on activities, they were able to better understand the skills, teamwork, and dedication required in each role.
